One of the students in room 8 brought her pet rat to school. The rat's name is Smittens and she is only 2 months old. Lots of children wanted to see the rat up close but not everyone wanted to hold her. Luciana, Tayla-Jade, Isaiah, Makaela, Ms O'Neil and Miss Langdon all had a little cuddle. Smittens was as quiet as a mouse (or maybe as quiet as a rat) all day!!

The rat was huge!!!!!!!!!!!!!! well lets say medium size. People kept on coming to look at it. yes including me, yes I looked at a rat and she was one quiet mouse no I mean as quiet as a rat. please read the paraghaph room8 wrote together. Wow what a fabulous rat, It ran on the running reel. I enjoyed watching her do that. She did stay overnight in the classroom. It was a magnificant rat, she's so cute.
