Alliterations

Our weekly poem this week is 'First Day' by John Parker and he used an alliteration to describe learning to ski.

"I fall and flounder and flop and flag"

Here are some alliterations we wrote ourselves:

Ella: Big bubbles blowing in the breeze.

Liam: Big buzzing bumble-bees busy in the blossom

Lucy: Small scruffy snuffling Smittens scampering along

Rebecca:  Small shining stars shimmering in the sky.

Lyrica:  Big bumble-bees buzzing in the bright sky.

Daniel G: One fly flies faster than a Ferrari

Braden:  Sloppy shoes squeak in the hall.

Felicia:  Rabbits roam 'round roses.

Allyana:  Small shoes skipping in the slime.

Cross-country winners!

Well done to all the children who participated in the cross-country race on Friday.  Many of us achieved your personal goals which we had set earlier this term.  Here are the top 6 finishers in years 5 and 6.
