Maths - ICAN
We have been working hard to become self directed learners. We have ICAN sheets that tell us our goals for our level. Mrs D has then helped us put together a range of ideas, games and activities to help us achieve each goal. Here are some photos of us learning our doubles, times tables and quick facts in fun and interesting ways.

Descriptive Writing
Last week we wrote character descriptions (ask us about our 'twit child'). Now we have moved onto setting descriptions. Here we had to use our senses, adjectives and a simile to describe what it would be like in this setting.
Room 8 are focused writers that are working on making their writing interesting through specific language features.
