It is always fun when Erin comes in to teach us new skills and games.  Today we had to work together to complete a group task...and then do it blindfolded! We ended with a funny game.  We had lots of fun learning together today.

Swimming

Meeting our buddy class

Today we got to meet the wonderful Room 5.  They are very new to our school and we enjoyed sharing in some fun activities in their classroom.  

As the term goes on we will help them with many aspects of school like reading, maths, sports and much more.

Te Reo is fun

Here we are learning a new game called Poi Rakau.

You have to have someone in the middle with the stick and a circle of people around you. 

The aim of the game is to throw and pass it as quickly as you can, around the circle, back to the start.

We had lots of fun trying it with different people in the middle and then even had a class challenge at the end.
