It is term 2 and we are straight into lots of new and exciting learning.
We have started this term by learning about Anzac day and why it is so important.
We did a mind map to find out what we know about Anzac day and what we understand about war.

The whole school walked down to Memorial Park on Friday 24th April after Positive assembly. We had a look at the crosses with soldiers' names on them. We laid a wreath that students have been making in the library and we looked at all the beautiful poppies. A lady at Memorial Park told us that they were putting in 6000 poppies made out of felt, ready for the dawn parade.
