Room eight saw some alpacas at the 'Schools Day Out' event at Claudelands Event Centre. There was a cria which is a baby alpaca. The cria was only 4 days old.
Some lucky children got to lead some alpacas around an obstacle course. The alpacas didn't always want to go in the right direction.
We really liked the cria it was so cute. From Levi & Josh Rm8

We loved the school day out. The alpacas were softer than sheep (there were no sheep). We had fun with the pirate , the Funky Monkeys and Civil Defence group.

ReplyDeleteOn Friday we went to a Waikato show at Claudelands Event Centre. We saw someone named Captain Jelly and someone in my class won a prize which was a pirate ship helium balloon. We also looked at some alpacas. Some of the children in our class got to walk the alpacas on a lead. The civil defence people told us how to survive disasters.
